happy thankzgiving

I have so many things to be thankful for this holiday... Unfortunately, one of those is not rising blood counts. To be fair, they did go up - just barely. So there will be no shopping for me on Black Friday, no movies with the family, no hugging anyone.

Happily, my Mom got to come up and spend Thanksgiving with John and me. We had a lovey relaxing day and a delicious meal. I even got Madame Scrooge to help with some Christmas decorating!

And I finally got to eat a Brussels sprout!!! Mmmmmmmmmm.... (Yes, MT Bee, it was cooked well!)

Hope you all had a good one too!

Linda: A belated Happy Thanksgiving to you also! My computer was crashed for three weeks, so I couldn't respond to blogs during that time; sorry; but I was thinking of you and of course praying for you. I got the news that your treatment is over and you are waiting for those counts to go up. So that will be part of my daily prayer topic-good blood counts for Linda and more energy and brussel sprouts to your heart's content!!!!! I love you and am in touch with you by heart. Glad your Mom got to spend the day with you and you actually got her in a little bit of Christmas Spirit!!!! YAY!!!! Something to look forward to every day is so important. Yesterday is past; today is what we have to enjoy and I believe the more we enjoy the "todays" the more tomorrows we will have! Good for you, Linda! We love you....emilie and bill.

Linda,
That's just about the nicest picture I've ever seen of you and your precious Mom. How can I download/print for my fridge?

Your smile in the photo reflects such a sweet Puney...Tinkerbell Puny...whose counts WILL rise!!!!

Bring on those brussel sprouts, girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love, JO

Dear sweet Linda, Your spirit sounds better, that helps make you feel better, so your blood count will be
higher. That's the reason I can't stand looking at a sad movie. Love you, Mems

I have to say Linda...that brussel sprout looks gross!!! But I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm thankful that I got to see you for a few hours. It was probably a good thing emotionally speaking that I couldn't hug you. :)

Hope your counts keep going up!!
Love, Erin

from Lauren: "I go to Memere's and Pepere's and I go camping. I love cousin Linda. I went to MT. Jeanne's with her."

I'm happy that I could spend Thanksgiving with you & John. He made a delicious meal! It was encouraging to see you looking so good. I wish we could have seen FOUR CHRISTMASES, but those counts will come up. It was good that you were able to go to MT Jeanne's and spend part of the day. Looking forward to more good news.
Love,
Mom

Dear Linda, You look great and I'm sure your counts will rise soon. Keep eating the brussel sprouts ( I had some last week too.) "Australia" is very good too ( for when you can go back out into public ). Keep smiling, Love M.O. Paul
